| On Saturday, August 25, 2001, Steamtown's ex NKP 514 diesel ran lite to the Tobyhanna Army Depot to arrange the stored equipment there for a return to Scranton. About half a dozen derelict wooden cars may not be returning and are likely to be scrapped on site. Update!!! 11/7/01 New Pictures, All equipment listed on Track 1 moved to the Steamtown Yard Update!!! 7/31/02 All equipment listed on track 2 moved to the Steamtown Yard. Update!!! All equipment moved from Tobyhanna Yard. |

| This is the equipment which would appear to be destined for scrapping on site. This is only conjecture, but the cars seem nearly unsalvageable and certainly unable to be move by rail or possibly even truck. -B&M wooden combine, red on one side, yellow on the other, open vestebule on passenger end, closed vestibule on freight end. -B&M Combine, red, white and blue car, wooden, open platforms each end. -New York Central/Rutland-like (but from neither road) low coupela style wooden caboose. -B&M coach, open platforms each end, wooden, red, all windows blanked over. -SJ&LC (I think) caboose, odd style cast metal frame as if built on a flanger body (only conjecture here) no couplela. |

| *Also On Site... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Also on site was a former Rutland steam pile driver, tender and idler flat. From what I was told this neat three car set is being retained by Steamtown. Also present is a former SEPTA Bullet car which, along with the trolley listed on track 2, is destined for the Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
